Levy Entertainment Group offers a world class production studio for film and music. Our studio, residentially located in the hills of Malibu, provides privacy and seclusion from the big city and features a spectacular 360 degree view of Malibu's coast and mountains. A team of the most prominent studio designers, architects, and acousticians in the industry constructed the state of the art facility. The design bridges the gap between the realm of television/film production and the realm of audio/music production. Quite simply, the studio has been designed for the ultimate sonic experience.
Our designer Carl Yanchar has worked with such clients as NBC San Diego, Southwestern College, ABC Disney, Capitol Recording Studios, CBS records, Scotti Bros Music, Signature Sound, Walt Disney TV, and Ocean Way Studios.

Our speaker designer Jerry Steckling is the founder of JSX Audio and former Chief of Acoustic Engineering at Skywalker Sound, a division of Lucas Digital Ltd. He designed and built our TAD main monitors, two 15-inch woofers (TL 1601A) and a Northwest Radial Horn (TL-4001) similar to that of the original George Ausberger TAD Designs.

Bruce Millet has provided the designs for our systems integration. His outstanding resume includes Capitol Records, Cirque Du Soleil, Euphonix, Ice Cube, Kenny G, NBC studios, 20th Century Fox, and Warner Bros Studios.

Featuring variable acoustic paneling, our drum room can be utilized to capture any desired room tone. Its large plate glass windows allow the performers to enjoy the beautiful Pacific view while tracking. Our second story room sits directly above the control room and shares the same gorgeous views and is perfect for live tracking as well as overdubs. The control room features a Trident Series 24 console, SSL patch bay, and a plethora of outboard gear. The rooms are linked with an HDMI video communication system which features video word clock and an HD amplifier, preventing the possibility of video delay between rooms. This ensures a perfectly accurate way to track live in all rooms simultaneously.

Our control room also features main speakers that were originally built for Backroom Studios in Glendale, CA. These speakers have served such clients as Brian McKnight, Justin Timberlake, TuPac Shakur, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Eve, Game, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Boyz II Men, Earth Wind & Fire, Lenny Kravitz, David Foster, Christina Milian, Jamie Foxx, Brandy, LeeAnn Rimes, Britney Spears, Jonny Lang, Kenny G, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Weird Al Yankovic, Aaron Neville, Wayne Brady, Shaquille O'Neal, Jessica Simpson, and Johnny Mathis.

We believe in working with the right combination of both modern and vintage equipment. We feature an arsenal of rare vintage equipment including the previously mentioned Trident console, Hammond B3 Organ, and a Rogers drum kit formerly owned by Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys. We also feature a state-of-the-art Pro Tools HD Rig and cutting edge equipment from Apogee, Apple, Avid and Digidesign. In addition, the studio provides an engineer, producer, and composer all on-site to ensure that your artistic vision will be fulfilled.
